Senior Teacher Management Course

Who is the course meant for?

The course is intended for teachers of English who wish to further develop their career by moving into management or those who wish to understand language school management.

Who devised and organized the course?

The course was written and will be delivered by Robert Buckmaster, Academic Director, of IH Riga. Robert has an Advanced Diploma in Language Teaching Management and many years experience in managing language teaching operations.

What are the goals / aims of the course?

The course will focus on development of teaches' knowledge of management principles including managing, observing and developing teachers; the culture of language schools and time management and professional development.

When and where will the course be delivered?

The course will take place on Thursday afternoons and sessions will last 90 minutes. There will be 8 sessions in total. The whole course will last 16 academic hours (1 academic hour = 45 minutes). The course will take place at IH Riga and will run from January 28th to April 29th. 

What qualifications / documents will teachers receive on successful completion of the course?

Course Participants will receive an IH Riga certificate on completion of the course.
